  1. Become a student at CYB.
  2. Recommend CYB to a young person you know who would like to give a year of his life for full-time service.
  3. Support a student financially that will enable him/her to be trained.
  4. Being financially involved in the ministry of CYB.
  5. Requesting our prayer letter to be forwarded to you.
  6. Becoming part of a prayer chain.
  7. Attending some of the open training courses (e.g CrossRoads).
  8. Come and visit us on the farm.

 

Requirements for becoming a student at CYB:

  1. Walk a steady road with the Lord for at least two years.
  2. Have matric certificate.
  3. Be between the age of 17 & 30.
  4. Have a desire to work for the Lord full-time.
  5. Be prepared to offer a year of your life away from home.
  6. Have a desire to work mainly with high school youth.

 

The application process:

  1. An interview.
  2. An application documents are forwarded to the possible candidate;
  3. After full completion, these documents are studied;
  4. After this, the applicant will be invited for a first interview;
  5. Reference forms are then completed by individuals that know the applicant well. (Not family members or friends)
  6. If the directors are then convinced that the individual should be a student, the process of support development start;
  7. Once all funds are full, the applicant finally starts as a first year student at CYB.

How to get here (from PTA):

Take the N4 East from Pretoria. Pass Witbank, Middelburg and Belfast. The first town after Belfast is Machadodorp (on the right-hand-side of the N4). The gravel road to Dullstroom starts opposite the second turn-off into Machadodorp. Turn right here. Follow the gravel road for 3.6 km and on your right you should see CYBs farm - "Waterval".
